【吳錦勳╱採訪】 2009/08/30 今年五十七歲的吳念真雖然很會拍廣告、很會說故事,但他真在意的是:「台灣越來越沒有這種地方自然凝聚的真情。」他說我們活在一個人與人之間信任越來越稀薄的現實,但在心裡又對過去真情甜美無比眷戀,「而偏偏情義和真情是台灣現在最缺乏的東西。」他想經由戲劇,讓大人重新找到真情,讓小孩可以放肆大笑。談到台灣的未來,他吐了一口長煙,意味深長地說:「如果小孩子都沒有了笑容,我們這一代這樣拚死拚活的車拚,又有什麼意義?」 1台灣傳統的情感 情感,是台灣最可貴的東西。我有個病態的習慣,我自己也覺得很奇怪,十幾年的老朋友好不容易見面了,分別時說了「再見」,他轉身走了,我下意識會忍不住再回頭,再看一眼他遠去的身影,好好仔細地記住他的背影。因為我很怕,他這轉身一走,就是永別。 這是九份礦坑長大的我,面對人生不測的一種潛意識反應。以前爸爸早上下坑,我們擔心他晚上會不會回來,大家做的都是危險的工作,不知道你哪天會出事,因此朋友間的情義和承諾特別重要。 情義和承諾的背後伴隨的叫「信任」。我知道我幫你做了什麼事,你以後一定會幫我做什麼,而且不必講出來。十多年前,我爸得到礦工的職業病──矽肺病住院,已經末期了,罩呼吸器,住加護病房,有一天我們去看他,等我們走了之後,他就從四樓打開窗戶跳樓。這對我的打擊很大,那天我記得剛好是颱風夜。他過世前跟我說:「我的喪事你放心,因為你爸爸幫過很多人。」真的,那天晚上八點多我爸出事,我打電話給媽媽,消息一傳開,夜裡十點多,外頭大風大雨,我家客廳卻熱鬧的擠了二十幾個人,幫媽媽處理事情。 我爸那些朋友都已經五、六十歲,而且都跟我爸一樣有矽肺病,出殯那天卻堅持要合力把棺木抬上山去。原木棺很重,十幾個人這樣撐著,我站在他們後面,看到他們的腳在階梯上顫抖,一步步踩著上山……直到今天想到那情景,還是會忍不住哭出來。 我們九份那個老村莊,民國六十幾年就沒了,消失三十多年了,但我最近還要去吃我媽的換帖會,之前也有我爸的換帖會;村子沒了,但關係還在。你當然會很珍惜這種感情。 2為什麼我們不再彼此信任? 這就是台灣人說的:「人啊,互相互相啦!」因為信任在裡面。有一天,人與人之間的信任感不見了,就不會輕易承諾什麼。現在這種傳統情感、承諾或是情義,慢慢沒有了。為什麼?我不知道,是社會慢慢進步,是政治操弄,...

E Troy 譯 者:宋嘉行 出 版 社:清華大學 出版日期:2009.5.30 這幾年來「教學評鑑」一詞可說是風靡各大專校院,「教學評鑑」的成果與最終目的日益受到重視,然而評鑑是否可以衡量且反應出教師教學的成效?卻是值得教育相關單位深思、探討的。 《教研相長–解開大學教學與研究之謎》這本書,取自於美國德州農工大學1998至2003年近10,000名學生對老師們所作的期末評鑑等資料來進行統計分析,探討「教學評鑑」對於老師和學生之間的教授、學習與研究等互動關係。香港城市大學郭位校長在這本書中,以胡適先生的「大膽假設,小心求證」的方式來論述,歸納得出教學是可以被評量的,且教學工作亦是困難的。 本書主要闡述「生產力」「表現力」和「最終效率」三個論點,來說明教學評鑑中應該要包含的項目、方法與態度,並從這之中也可看出老師與學生們之間的互動性。一個好老師有很多評鑑的方式,學生們是參考的指數。教學的好壞需要被評量,也是需要被指出教學的缺失,進而改善教學的方式,讓教學更有效率的發揮。因此「教學評鑑」是根據評量上的數據來統計分析,以客觀的方式來評量與瞭解老師的教學成果,及學生對於老師的評價。 香港城市大學郭位校長以「教學是大學最重要的使命之一」為本書前言開端,也指出「教學績效的測量的確是一個很繁雜的工作」。作者亦說明70%以上的老師是贊同「教學評鑑」,倘若沒有「教學評鑑」的評量,老師們就會產生自說自話的效果,對於接受教育的學生們提出的抗辯,就會有無力點產生。因此在這本書裡以科學的態度和方法,把大學教育制度下的敎學和研究等相關的因素明列出來,進行數據的統計與分析來說明釐清研究能力與教學品質的互動關係,為教育的歷程建立「讓證據說話」的典範。

I've been figuring out how to videotape the lecture for ages because I like it but I do not have any technological background, sufficient support and much time. Thanks to the visit of LiSan High School, I learned how to use it. Thank you ! You know, I've been thinking teachers at that school are so lucky that they have a super team to back up them. I need to take a note in case I forget it. I will definitely master it this summer when I have full time working on it. THE WORLD IS BEAUTIFUL AGAIN! Exciting News?

I was informed they had ranked my proposal first. Wow! I can't believe it! If you ask me whether I am excited about the news, I would say "I don't know...." Why? This winter vacation, I went back to Tainan to enjoy the sun and the leisure. However, as usual, all the syndromes of sickness just came out! The Chinese saying can describe everything: "Here hurt, there hurt!" Thus, I told myself that this time I needed to make up my mind to be a "smart" teacher. Yet, when I came back to Taipei, wow, I suddenly found that I did not finish reading all the teaching stuff and I even did not finish doing the PowerPoint files for this semester. My papers are still lying on the desk and stored in my computer. They are calling me: finish it, finish it! Hey... not so good! This is not my style. Then, the school is starting. I have no choice but to start working again! Then, at the moment, the news just popped out! So, what did you say?

In the winter, in the freezing weather, it is a great thing for anyone to enjoy sitting under the sun. Yes. Here is what I am doing right now. Reading CNN magazine! Taking a nap! Sleeping early! Taking a walk in woods! These are what I am doing in here. I cannot believe it I am enjoying this kind of life! This is really a life! What should I do once I return to Taipei? A Prompt Speech in My Dream

Last week, Chu told me that I spoke English in my sleep. In fact, it was not the first time I did so. But I remembered it always happened when I had pressure such as before a big exam, an important interview or something like that. Interestingly, it happened last week during the Chinese New Year in Tainan. There is something more interesting happening. I had a prompt speech in my sleep (or dream) last night. I did not know it was in my dream or my sleep, but I know the topic was "eating." What I remembered is that one thing I have to do is "eating" during the Chinese New Year. In greeting people or in a reunion party, I have to eat. When you see off people, I have to eat. I go to visit others, and, of course, I have to eat. Eat, eat, eat... In fact, I forgot most of the content, but I remember it was a perfect speech! Even so, I still feel it doesn't make any sense at all. Time really flies. While celebrating the New Year and writing syllabi for next semester, I reflect myself what I did in the past year. Besides grumbling my busy schedule and overloaded work, did I have any contribution to my research and personal learning? Perhaps, but far less. After all, I have finished my studies for one year, so I should have all my effort in my personal research. I gave a presentation in Lungwha University and a speech in Chenkuo Junior High. I also had a conference paper in Tamkang University. However, I don't think these are not enough. I should write something new and more. I knew a lot of stuff in my brain, but I did not write it down. In addition, I did not manage my time and effort well, either.
