Unhappy Days?
Poor Teacher,
I found you felt unhappy these days. These days? Or maybe longer? Why? You told me that your happiness has been built on students' achievement. So, do your students disappoint you? Hey, you know students! It is impossible for them to insist all their attention to one thing for long. No? You mean, your students are fine? Then, why do you feel sad? Oh, I misunderstood you. It is not the problem that your students do not concentrate on one thing for long; it is that your students do not learn for a whole semester or even for a whole year! Wow! How could you survive? Are you talking to the wind or the air when it is time in class? How could you stand it for almost the semester? No, a whole year! Wow, no wonder, you are unhappy. A year?! What a disaster! You cannot have any sense of achievement in teaching. You are humans, not saints. Busy life or much workload is okay for you because you are a great teacher. You are great to handle every tiny difficulty. Yet, it is hard to imagine that you get no response from teaching. I mean your students do not want to learn. How could you tell yourself that it is worth doing everything when your students do not work hard? How could you convince yourself that you are a successful teacher when your students are not learning? How could you tell yourself the principle of the automatically learning method is worthy trying espcially in high school? No wonder Jacky Chen made the comment--Chinese or Taiwanese people need to be managed or controlled somehow. (Though many people are mad at this. Do you ask your students whether they agree with this argument?) Oh, sorry. It is gone too far. Haha. Yes. I feel pity on you. No wonder, you are unhappy.
So, what are you going to do with this challenge? Escape yourself from it? You are not this kind of person. I remember you have been the one who can always face the challenge since I knew you. No? You mean you want to admit that you fail in your field. No, again? Wow, how complicated! No wonder you are unhappy.
Well, well. I do not know what to say to you, but I wish you happy. So, let's end the tough situation and let's focus on happy things. There must be something cheerful in your life. Change your mind!
