Happy New Year!

Time really flies. While celebrating the New Year and writing syllabi for next semester, I reflect myself what I did in the past year. Besides grumbling my busy schedule and overloaded work, did I have any contribution to my research and personal learning? Perhaps, but far less. After all, I have finished my studies for one year, so I should have all my effort in my personal research. I gave a presentation in Lungwha University and a speech in Chenkuo Junior High. I also had a conference paper in Tamkang University. However, I don't think these are not enough. I should write something new and more. I knew a lot of stuff in my brain, but I did not write it down. In addition, I did not manage my time and effort well, either. I spent a great deal of time checking my students’ papers, but I did not see their much progress. Did I have too much expectation of them? Did I give them as well as me too much pressure?

As I mentioned in my speech, I need to be a smart teacher! But how? Well, maybe I need to finish writng my syllbi and I'll get the answer.

教育部公布100年師鐸獎獲獎人員名單 (發布日期2011-08-26)

為追求更美好的教育品質，以回應社會的殷切期待，透過親、師、生的認同與肯定，讓教師在工作崗位上獲得尊嚴，感受到教育工作的價值。依馬總統於98年9月28日教育奉獻獎暨資深優良教師表揚餐會時致詞宣布事項，研議提高教師接受表揚層次，自99年起恢復由教育部統籌辦理師鐸獎，訂定「師鐸獎評選及表揚活動實施要點」選拔優秀教育人員，明定每年教師節併資深優良教師舉行表揚大會，藉以喚起社會尊師重道精神，使國人體認教師樹人興國、承先啟後之崇高貢獻，培育更健全、更優秀的下一代。 教育部今（8/26）日公布100年師鐸獎獲獎人員名單，共72位教師、校長、軍護人員獲得此獎項。教育部表示，今（100）年師鐸獎選拔，分為初審及決審兩階段，經各縣市政府受理報名初審後依限額向教育部推薦，再由教育部邀集學者專家及社會公正人士等代表組成決審小組，參酌教師課程發展與教學績效、班級經營暨學生輔導、專業成長與服務熱忱、教育政策與法令推動、投注教育奉獻度、對社會之影響度、行政合作與公共關係以及教學領導、專業成長與服務熱忱等遴選標準，就各直轄市與縣市政府（單位）推薦之143位候選人逐一進行書面資料審查及入圍教師面談後，經過嚴格的評選，共計選拔出校（園）長15名、教師56名、軍護人員1名，合計72名獲獎者。 100年師鐸獎獲獎者均是從事教職盡心盡力，有具體成效，且深受家長、學生及同事肯定、充分發揮專業精神及教育愛，具有端正教育風氣之特殊事蹟；在其專業領域有創新、顯著發展或在教育崗位上有特殊貢獻，足堪楷模者。獲師鐸獎者將由教育部統籌於9月28日併當年度舉行之資深優良教師及教育奉獻獎表揚大會接受表揚，由教育部頒贈獎座1座、獎狀1幀、安排出國考察，並由各級主管教育行政機關（單位）核予記功1次，以資鼓勵。另獲獎者得由各級主管教育行政機關（單位）敦請參與教育經驗分享及教學理念傳承相關活動。 教育部100年師鐸獎獲獎人員名單 序號 推薦機關單位全稱 姓名 服務學校全稱 職稱 性別 1 新北市政府 陳淑媛 新北市立林口國民中學 教師兼輔導組組長 女 2 朱芳梅 新北市萬里區大鵬國民小學 教師兼教導主任 女 3 古蔓萍 新北市瑞芳區吉慶國民小學 教師兼總務主任 女 4 陳熒興 新北市板橋區埔墘國民小學 教師 男 5 林文生 新北市中和區秀山國民小學 校長 男 6 吳順火 新北市永和區永和國民小學 校長 男 ...

Coming back from the warm spot, I have been doodling around the whole day and thinking about what I want to do next. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, around three years ago, I started losing the faith in pursuing the achievement of my job. Perhaps it was time that I made a change. However, during the transition, I was still working and doing my duty, but I know I lost the enthusiasm to update myself. Now, it is the New Year that makes me think the question again.
