How to Write A Story

First, read stories. StoriesWebsites: 1. http://aesopfables.com/ 2. http://www.magickeys.com/books/ 3. http://www.britishcouncil.org/kids-stories-short.htm 4. http://www.online-literature.com/ Second, gather ideas for your story. Third, know your characters. Fourth, create a plot for your story. Fifth, limit the breadth and length of your story. Sixth, decide who will tell the story: first-person (“I”), second-person (“you”), or third-person (“he” or “she”)? Seventh, start writing. Eighth, discuss with your friends or instructors. (Ask them to be your first readers.) Ninth, keep revising your story.

Reflection

I have been leading a busy life for the past ten years since I changed the track of life. In the first eight years, I have been devoted to the learning world, and I indeed acquired a lot while exploring this world! I have to say it was a tiring world, but rich. However, things seem to change. Still busy? Yes, but I feel lonely, tedious, and dry. I need to search the spring of life.
